Founded by Karen and her tech-savvy hubby in 2021, we're dedicated to creating a brand that's as unique as you are. At Gawjus, we're committed to adding a splash of color to your wardrobe with pieces crafted from 100% cotton and luxurious vintage silks.
Picture this: bustling Indian markets, bursting with color and energy. That's where we find our mojo – in the fabrics and handicrafts that make each piece pop with personality. Think bold, colorful prints, hand-dyed with a whole lotta love. We're all about that funky, eclectic vibe, where mismatched is the new black.
Our pieces are designed to make you feel extraordinary. And while Gawjus sleepwear effortlessly transitions to leisurewear, keeping you stylish around the clock, our models—mostly shy family members—bring a personal touch to every photo
Our fabrics, 100% cotton and sometimes silk are perfect for our climate and easy to take care of, but let's not forget the comfort factor. Cotton isn't just any fabric – it's a dream to sleep in. Cool in summer, cozy in winter and, of course, as good in the lounge as it is in the bedroom!
In Jan 2024 we opened Gawjus New Zealand and, like many other South Africans, have discovered the beauty and allure of the Kiwi people who have joined our Gawjus journey.
